We’re not out of this yet…

July 24, 2009

Well, after a long hiatus, I’m back in the blogging business. I’ll be keeping this post short and sweet because I’m off to meet a friend and talk Linkedin. Should be a fun session. I’m trying to help him ‘maximize’ his opportunity. This got me thinking, we’re not out of this yet. Look at all those who have fallen…

Jim Rohn (if you don’t know who this is, you need to google him!) reminded me this morning that education and attention are soooo important. Education through our own experiences good and bad are invaluable and we MUST learn from them. We must also learn from the successful and unsuccessful – examine it, why did they go one way or another?

We must also pay attention. Rohn said (paraphrasing) that they guy with no money in his bank account probably has high cholesterol…because in the last 5 years, he never paid attention to either one.

So what does this have to do with marketing? We’re finding that a lot of companies have ‘cut’ and are now really struggling. Did they cut the right campaign? What if they cut the rope they were holding on to?

This is where I can help. We want to help business owners and marketing manager figure out an actionplan. If you don’t pay attention to your marketing efforts, it will go one of two ways – toward zero or climb with each ‘good’ account rep that walks into your door.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a strategic partner along the way? Contact me
